God created us and loves us very much.
I
will give thanks to Thee, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made .
.
.
Psalm
139:14 (NASB)
But we have all sinned.
"For
all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God . . ."
Romans 3:23 (NASB)
That sin has separated us from God. Sin must be punished and that
punishment is death — eternity spent in hell separated from God.
"For
the wages of sin is death, . . ."
Romans 6:23a (NASB)
Because of His love for us, God sent His Son, Jesus, to die on the
cross and pay the price for our sins.
"For
Christ also died for sins once for all, the just for the unjust, in
order that He might bring us to God, having been put to death in the
flesh, but made alive in the spirit."
1 Peter 3:18 (NASB)
"For
God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that
whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life."
John 3:16 (NASB)
We must then confess our sins to God, ask Him to forgive us, and
make Jesus the Lord of our lives.
"Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out,
that times of refreshing may come from the Lord, . . ."
Acts 3:19 (NIV)
"That
if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your
heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."
Roman 10:9 (NIV)
Would you like to pray and admit to God you are a sinner, ask Him to
forgive you, and ask Jesus to be the Lord of your life? If so, pray
the following prayer and ask God to save you:
Dear God, I believe Jesus is Your Son and that He
died on the cross and was raised from the dead. I admit to You that
I am a sinner and in need of forgiveness. Please forgive me and
save me. I turn from my sins and receive Jesus as my Savior and
Lord. I thank You for the forgiveness of my sins, the gift of
salvation and everlasting life, because of Your merciful grace. In
Jesus' Name, Amen.
Once you've given your life to the Lord Jesus, let another true
believer know so you can have help in growing in your faith. Join a
Bible-believing church in your area and study God's word in detail.
After you are saved, there are three things to practice daily for
spiritual growth: Pray — you talk to God. Read your Bible
— God talks to you. Witness — you talk for God.
Please let us know of your decision. We are blessed to hear your
good news. |
