Our
Peru Mission -- October, 2009
|
| On Thursday, October 8, 2009, four people
from our church and two from Morrison Heights Baptist Church,
Clinton, MS traveled to Peru for our seventh mission trip. We flew
to Lima, Peru. From there four people from PGBC (Larry, Debbie,
Sonny, and Martha) left on a bus to San Ramon, Peru. Two people (Tim
and Kevin) went on to Cusco. The PGBC team joined Tim and Kevin in
Cusco after three days in San Ramon.
In Cusco, we stayed in a comfortable
apartment at Talitha Koumi, the girls' orphanage. Each day at 4:00
p.m. (after school) we met the neighborhood children plus the
children from the orphanage on the neighborhood basketball court for
an outdoor Bible School.
