Rev. Tim Rowan came to Port Gibson Baptist Church on June 3, 2006. Tim and his wife, Amy, have served as lay leaders at Morrison Heights Baptist Church in Clinton for 25 years prior to being called into the ministry in 2006.

They have three children—Jeremy, Luke, and Sarah-Kate.

Bro. Tim's focus for ministry is found in 2 Timothy 4:2, "Preach the Word, be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke, and encourage, with patience and careful instruction."
