Our
Peru Mission (our Peru Mission
Statement)
On February 18, 2009 our
church voted to fund the construction of the first floor of Elim
Boys Orphanage in Cusco, Peru. We are blessed and excited to be a
part of this mission. Our hearts were captured in our first visit in
2004, and we have continued our relationship with them since then.

Mission Trips to Peru

March 2011- From our church a team of four
met a team of 22 from Michigan for a medical mission trip to
Cusco, Peru Elim Orphanage.

July 2010 - A group of 5 church members
traveled to San Ramon and Cusco, Peru.

October 2009 - A group of 6 people traveled
to San Ramon and Cusco, Peru.

July 2008 – A group for our church returned
to Cusco.

Summer 2007 – A group from our church
returned to Cusco where Drew and Laura Beth Harris were serving
for the summer.

February 2007 – A
group of 9 people traveled by to Lima

Summer 2005 – Drew
Harris spent the summer in Cusco, Peru where he worked with Elim
orphanage and tutored the boys in English.

September 2004 –
returned to Cusco, Peru to purchase a building for a girls’
orphanage.

January 2004
– A group of 23 people traveled to Lima, Peru to visit an
orphanage and then traveled to Cusco, Peru where our group was
first introduced to Elim orphanage (a boys’ orphanage) and saw
the need for a girls’ orphanage.
